The Camp Cook (1Newland Enterprises Ltd. is hiring for a Camp Cook (1st) will work with the Newland administration and management to ensure that company employees and industrial guests have a safe, healthy, and enjoyable stay. The Camp Cook position is responsible for managing reservations with Newland administration, reporting billable stays and billable fuel usage, and weekly checks on various consumables.
Responsibilities:
Complete daily and weekly paperwork including inventory management and ordering.
Plan menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for camp guests
Check consumable levels in camp including but not limited to – generator hours, fuel levels,
propane levels
Ensure clients with differing dietary constraints are accommodated
Maintain the kitchen in clean working order
Operate safely and promote safe work habits
Qualifications:
2-5 Years related experience in remote camps
Class 5 driver’s license in good standing
Food Safe certified, further relevant certifications encouraged
First aid certifications are an asset
Preference will be given to local and surrounding community applicants

Compensation and benefits:
$27.50-$30.00 Hourly
Paid travel to/from Fort St. James to camp
