CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

We aim to engage technology and social license to involve all stakeholders in responsible equitable fiber harvest. Our focus is to continuously improve and adapt our business to capitalize on the right opportunities the right way.

A GREAT PLACE TO WORK

Our beginnings are in family business, as we move forward we aim to create that same sense of belonging and collaboration with all our employees on the road, in the shop, at camp, and in the bush. We will go the distance for the people that come with us!

Safe and Certified

We are BC Forest Safety Council SAFE certified and committed to getting everyone home from their shift safely every day. The bush, forest roads, and industrial projects can be dangerous work environments. Our goal is to provide our people with the training, tools, and support to ensure everyone comes home safe.

Newland is a proud member of the Interior Loggers Association and Truck Loggers Association. We are firm believers that our representative organizations help our contractor community be heard and keep BC industry competitive.

Dedication to Our Community

continuing Community Sponsors

Fort St. James has been our home community for over 50 years. In that time, the community has supported us through down turns, mill closures, and wildfires. Naturally, as we continue to grow, so does our ability to give back to our community.

We are proud to be a part of Fort St. James’  the strong group of industrial donors, supporting a diverse range of community organizations.

We are proud to be continuing sponsors in and around our communities!

We encourage community organizations, projects, teams, or students to reach out to us for financial support, in-kind donations, or other help as required and we will do our best to give our support.
